• October 24 + 25 2008:
  Provincial Literacy Conference, B.C. Literacy Council of the International Reading Association Available for school visits in the Okanagan
  
  
• November 2008:
  Tentative Author Tour of International Schools, Taiwan and southern China
  
  
• February 5 - 7 2009:
  Colorado State Reading Conference + school visits, Denver, Colorado
  
  
• February 22 - 25 2009:
  International Reading Association, one day Institute:  Spinning Multiple Genres Into Classroom Gold: Writers of fiction, poetry and nonfiction share their expertise while 2007 Teacher of the Year weaves their books together with practical classroom writing activities. Presenting with authors Linda Bailey, Sara Holbrook, Mary Casanova and Deborah Hodge, as well as Iowa's 2007 Teacher of the Year Jan Keese.
