medalMargriet was awarded the 2014 Honorary Fellowship by Okanagan University College for the creation of Kidswwwrite online magazine. In this magazine, Margriet published stories and poems written by children around the world. She managed and edited KidsWwwrite for 17 years. She was also awarded the Presidential Award for Reading & Technology of the International Reading Association, Region West, 2005 for this online magazine.
